Biography

I was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana To Tommie E. Alexander and Letha Pearl Hatcher. Our home at that time was in Mississippi. It’s where we resided for the remainder of three years. From there my father moved our family to Chicago, IL. This is where I first discovered a guitar,” or in other words “ I had found a love for something new. My father apparently at the time was into music himself. Not knowing I would be following in his footsteps. I can remember at the early age of three, I was pulling my father's guitar up into a chair. Although I had no idea of what I was doing, for that matter not even sure how to hold it. However on the contrary, knowing where I was in times past would change the rest of my life forever !

As time went on, I remember staying with my Cousins, family and friends throughout the years. I’m sure time was a little hard raising four children with one on the way I would imagine. I knew my father was a hard worker because I rarely seen him. As time passed moving on to bigger and better things, my father landed a new courier in the state of Detroit, Mi. the ford assembly plant. During these times in Detroit, there were troubling times. A rude awakening if you will.

The president at the time was John Fitzgerald Kennedy.

He was assassinated on November 22, 1963. Vietnam war was going on, riots all over the nation, violence, Corruption, Vandalisms. Anyway, a better way was on the horizon. The hippie movement was on and poppin.

short skirts, mini dresses, hot pants, and a whole lot more of “peace love and happiness”

While living in Detroit, I attended headstart at

(St. Cecilia’s Church) I was in training to become an altar boy. Now with knowing how to dance and becoming a class clown. I always managed to amuse my own elements of theatrical fun. While attending Catholic school, I was taught self-empowerment; self-esteem and a peace of mind. and of course getting to know my father and savior. Every year a festival was given on the church grounds. The first performance was a band. This was again another moment in time where I knew I had found what I really wanted to do with my life. I had cousins that lived around the corner from Motown.

I initially started playing the guitar fluently at around 7.

My cousins would sometimes come over wishing we could get something together. But of course, I was no doubt underage to be in the presence of adults to perform anything. My father and uncles were always playing music together in the living room and at other places abroad.

I remember listening to the radio and wanting to play what was appealing to my ear. Not long after that, my father moved us on to a better living. I continued my craft playing music with Nabors and friends, as well as creating some of my own styles. I took music at (J Edgar Hoover Junior high). My music teacher was Ms. Wear. I studied trombone. Meanwhile, I continued playing music with various people around the neighborhood and city.

From there I attended M.C. Carroll elementary school. And on to (federal elementary) (J. Edgar Hoover JR High) and (Taylor Center High).

Now becoming known as a new and upcoming entrepreneur / musician and artist. I toured in the north and south-east coast, as well as performing at various vendors. I started meeting performing artists and musicians in the music industry along the way. Just to name a few, from the Parliament Funkadelic. I met the brides of Frankenstein, Bootsy Collins, Traylude. Tony LA foot, Aundrey, Daryl, Steve, and Dennis Brown, we opened up for Peter Tosh at the Royal Oak Theater. Horatio Bennett, which at that time was the lead singer for our band called the herbal experience reggae band? Natasha Bearden Bennett. We also opened up for Anita Baker at the club Mozambique in Detroit. I met Pink, Shaquille O’Neil, and some of the Boston Celtics team members.

Around this time, I was busy on the road a lot. While being absent from home, I had performers accompanying my family such as Naughty by Nature, natures pride and elegance, of which I was a part of. My first band name was the brick city boys, the second name was verse 7, and the third name was Jupiter’s trouble, now I’m CEO and founder of Storytellerze Productions.
